Schedule Maintenance Settings

1. Open Control Panel, and click System and Security >  Security and Maintenance.

By default, Windows runs these tasks at 2 am every day. You can also set a time yourself.

If your computer is in a hibernation state, it will wake up the computer to perform these tasks, but everyone needs to pay attention, the computer cannot be shut down, and if you feel that the computer is a little stuck later, you can restart it.

1. Open Settings, and click System >  Storage > Optimize Drives.

1. Open Settings, and click System >  About > Advanced system settings.

3. The default option is “Let Windows choose what’s best for my computer”. There are many visual effects turned on below, you just need to click “Adjust for the performance”, and all visual effects can be turned off.

This will not have any impact on the use of your computer, of course, you can also choose to customize the menu you need, after the selection is complete, click Apply, and then click OK.

Turn off Transparency Effects

Open Settings, click Personalization >  Colors , and close the Transparency effects.

Uninstall Unnecessary Software

Open Settings, click AppsApps& features, and Uninstall unnecessary software.

Disable Unnecessary Startup Programs

1. Open Settings, click Apps >  startup, and disable unnecessary startup programs.

2. You can also use the shortcut key Ctrl + Shift + Escape to quickly open the Task Manager, click More details to find the start.

3. In this window, you can also intuitively see all the startup items and select the program you need to disable, click Disable in the lower right corner if you need to restart it later. Click to Enable.

Disable Apps Running in the Background

Open Settings, click Privacy >  Background apps and disable apps running in the background.

If you have custom requirements, you can also choose to close them one by one.
