This video mainly updates Gema’s new password policy for everyone. We need to expand the current password length to 14 characters and remove password complexity requirements from our policies.
Now Gema’s password-setting rules are as follows. Please follow the rules no later than July 1, 2023.
– The required minimum password length must be 14 characters
– The passwords will expire once a year (360 days for expiration)
– Account must be locked after 5 failed login attempts
– Password history, not able to reuse same password again
As the password length becomes longer, when creating a new password, we recommend that you use a passphrase, or choose four random words separated by letters or numbers, which can not only ensure the security of the password but also make it easier for you to remember.
Here we use the English phrase “Grandpa likes C@rs”. You can also use Chinese phrases and convert them into pinyin.
Below Sinokap gives two examples for you. We convert a sentence into Chinese pinyin.
– WoshiGemayuangong > Translate in English > I am an employee of Gema
– WoveryReaiwork > Translate in English > I love my work very much
