IT Migration Project Overview
During this project, our engineering team was responsible for the entire IT data center migration. Key tasks included:
1. Data Center Cabling:
We meticulously planned and executed the cabling for the new facility’s data center. Every cable was clearly labeled and strategically positioned to facilitate future maintenance and expansion.
2. Equipment Relocation and Installation:
Our team expertly relocated all servers, switches, and other IT equipment from the old data center to the new one. The installation and configuration were carried out according to the plan, ensuring seamless system operation.
3. Labeling and Documentation:
To enhance management efficiency, we created detailed labels for all cables and equipment. These labels not only included the equipment names and numbers but also detailed information and connection configurations.
4. Environmental Testing and Optimization:
We conducted comprehensive environmental testing in the new data center, including temperature, humidity, power supply, and security checks. Based on the results, we made necessary optimizations to ensure the data center environment meets industry standards.
5. System Testing and Acceptance:
After completing the installation, we performed thorough system tests to ensure all equipment and systems functioned correctly. The client was highly satisfied with our work, and the project passed the acceptance process smoothly.
